Ci sono attimi nella vita, brevi eppure indimenticabili, che brillano con la forza di un fulmine improvviso, frammenti di tempo così intensi da sembrare scolpiti nella memoria. Li possiamo chiamare zaffiri dell’istante – scintille rare e preziose che, come gemme, emergono dal flusso quotidiano per ipnotizzarci, sconvolgerci, o semplicemente svegliarci.

In quei momenti, tutto sembra fermarsi. La mente razionale, abituata a controllare, catalogare e pianificare, cede il passo a qualcos’altro: a una visione, a un’intuizione, a un’immagine che si impone con forza, anche se non sappiamo spiegarla. Questi zaffiri sono lampi di coscienza, talvolta così intensi da mandare in frantumi la nostra capacità di concentrazione, costringendoci a confrontarci con ciò che di solito ignoriamo: l’invisibile, l’inspiegabile, l’immaginario.

Eppure, è proprio da questa disarmonia che può nascere la bellezza. Perché quei lampi ci portano altrove, fuori dalla linearità della logica, in un territorio dove solo l’arte – nelle sue molteplici forme – riesce a tradurre il caos in significato. Il pittore, il poeta, il musicista, lo scrittore: tutti, in fondo, inseguono questi zaffiri dell’istante per afferrarli, trasformarli, restituirli al mondo sotto forma di emozione condivisa.

Non dovremmo temere questi momenti. Anche quando ci disorientano o ci scuotono, ci offrono qualcosa di prezioso: ci ricordano che siamo vivi, sensibili, capaci di meraviglia e di profondità. Ci aiutano a guardare il mondo con occhi nuovi, a immaginare ciò che ancora non esiste, a sentire ciò che le parole spesso non riescono a dire.

Il Festival si svolgerà dal 30 aprile fino il 17 maggio 2026 e avrà un programma intenso dal 30 Aprile al 3 Maggio 2026. 

There are moments in life—brief yet unforgettable—that shine with the force of sudden lightning, fragments of time so intense they seem carved into memory. We might call them sapphires of the instant: rare and precious sparks that, like gems, rise out of the flow of everyday life to mesmerize us, unsettle us, or simply wake us up.

In those moments, everything seems to stop. The rational mind, so accustomed to controlling, categorizing, and planning, steps aside to make room for something else: a vision, an intuition, an image that asserts itself with power, even if we cannot explain it. These sapphires are flashes of consciousness, at times so intense that they shatter our ability to focus, forcing us to confront what we usually ignore: the invisible, the inexplicable, the imaginary.

And yet, it is precisely from this dissonance that beauty can be born. For those flashes carry us elsewhere—beyond the linearity of logic, into a territory where only art, in its many forms, can translate chaos into meaning. The painter, the poet, the musician, the writer: all of them, in the end, chase these sapphires of the instant to grasp them, transform them, and return them to the world as shared emotion.

We should not fear these moments. Even when they disorient or shake us, they offer something precious: they remind us that we are alive, sensitive, capable of wonder and depth. They help us look at the world with new eyes, imagine what does not yet exist, feel what words often fail to express.
